New entrée
The staircase of the original building had an awkward position across the living-room. Moving the stairs to a new entrance-volume gave better access and better lighting-condition to both floors of the building.
Green architecture
Coffee company Beans is a green company in many ways. The reuse of base cabinets, lighting fixtures and other architectural components was implemented throughout the project of rebuilding and expanding their facilities.
